LCOS technology is still at a relatively early stage of commercial
application but is expected to be utilized in near-to-eye applications,
rear projection televisions and mini-projectors. We design our
LCOS products at our subsidiary, Himax Display, which owns and
operates a fab for the manufacture of such products.
