Himax Media Solutions design, a spin-off from Himax
Technologies, Inc. since 2007, develop and market TFT-LCD
television and monitor semiconductor solutions. In 2008, Chi
Mei Optoelectronics and TPV Technology Ltd., the world’s
largest manufacturer of LCD monitors and the world’s largest
LCD TV ODM, acquired minority stake in Himax Media Solutions
which would add to Himax’ competitive strength as well as
expand its market share in the LCD TV and monitor chipset
space. Currently, Himax Media Soultions' products has been
shipped to China, North America and India with excellent track
record.
