Working at Himax has been an exhilarating and immensely rewarding experience. As the sole student selected from the International Highway Entrepreneurship program organized by the University of Toronto and National Cheng Kung University, my internship at Himax Technologies proved to be truly exceptional. Throughout my time at Himax, I had the privilege of interacting with eminent professionals who were engaged in collaborative projects focused on innovative technologies and cutting-edge computing methods. This exposure greatly contributed to both my professional and personal development. As a graduate student, it is vital to maintain a strong connection with academia while aligning yourself with industry standards and principles. Working with the Video and IP team at Himax provided me with valuable insights into industry-level practices and protocols. Residing in a foreign country can be overwhelming at times, but I am grateful for the unwavering support of my team at Himax. They went above and beyond to ensure I had all the assistance I needed. The company organized regular food getaways, city tours, and enjoyable events for me and my team. Additionally, I am appreciative of the organization for covering my dormitory expenses and meals. As I prepare to leave Taiwan, I carry with me unforgettable memories and invaluable lessons gained from this professional program. It has been a true pleasure and a steep learning curve.
