Dividend Update (May 9, 2024)
  • Himax typically pays out its annual cash dividend at approximately the middle of its current calendar year based on the Company’s prior year’s profitability, e.g., 2024 dividend payouts in July is for fiscal year 2023.
  • On May 9 2024, the Company’s Board of Directors declared an annual cash dividend of 29.0 cents per ADS, equivalent to 14.5 cents per ordinary share, for the year of 2023. The dividend will be paid out on July 12 2024. This year’s dividend represents a payout ratio of 100% based on our fiscal year 2023 profit. The high payout ratio is supported by our positive business outlook and strong balance sheet.
  • Himax’s dividend decision is compliant with the Company’s Dividend policy disclosed in its Form 20-F for the year ended December 31, 2023 filed with SEC in April 2024.
