HM1091 HD Sensor for Slim and Low Profile Camera Applications

Himax Imaging HM1091 is a highly compact 1/9” 720P High Definition CMOS Image Sensor designed for embedded camera modules used in narrow bezel laptop computers and smart devices. The sensor utilizes Himax Imaging’s most advanced UltraSense™ BSI pixel that achieves low noise and high sensitivity performance to deliver exceptional image quality and video experience.
The HM1091 has an active array of 1280 x720 and operates up to 30 frames per second (FPS) in full resolution and 60FPS in subsampling and binning mode. The pixel data is transferred over MIPI-CSI2 interface with support for Spread Spectrum Clock Generation.
To meet the tight space requirements of narrow bezel panels, the HM1091 is available in an extremely small CSP and bare die package option. The bare die bond pads are located only on left and right side of the sensor to support narrow camera module dimensions.
